The following is Du-All Safety's formal safety assessment outline, used to conduct assessments of facilities and operations. This environmental health and safety assessment is conducted to identify regulatory compliance of Cal/OSHA (CCR Title 8), and Cal/EPA, DTSC (CCR Title 22). A confidential written report identifying the environmental health and safety status is produced. This report identifies specific recommendations for corrective action and their priority. The report will include a recommended safety plan of action draft, employee safety training matrix, and recordkeeping protocols.

Safety Assessment

I. Site, facility and equipment inspection, and risk assessment report of:

A. Conditions

  1. Inspect the building(s) and all operations
  2. Engineering controls
  3. Administrative controls
  4. Conduct personal protective equipment assessments
  5. Determine if and where respiratory protection is needed
  6. Determine if there are permit and/or non-permit confined spaces.
  7. Determine if any employee group is potentially exposed to Bloodborne Pathogens.
  8. Determine if/where fall protection is needed.
  9. Determine if/where lockout / tagout training is needed.
  10. Review heavy equipment operations, including, Forklift, manlift, sizzorlift, boom-truck, dump-truck, back-hoe, etc.
  11. Review the emergency action planning and major their components for compliance.

II. Review & Report on All Appropriate and Required Environmental Health and Safety Programs, Record Keeping, Permits, and Postings:

  1. Report will include an employee safety training matrix draft specific to the departments and their operations.
  2. Report will include a safety plan of action draft prioritized based on the appropriate regulatory requirements and the risk assessment provided.
  3. Complete review of all written safety programs, policies, and materials, including comments and update recommendations. (list of written safety materials for review on following page)
