

Course identification, length and regulatory drivers: The following is Du-All Safety's course outline used to train on the Dept. of Transportation requirements HM181 & 126f. The course meets or exceeds Department of Transportation standards and requirements for hazardous material transportation training.
Class length: 6 hours
Attendance prerequisites: None
Target Audience: Employees who ship, receive, or are responsible for transportation of hazardous materials.
Training location space & equipment requirements: Classroom setting, TV, VCR, powerpoint projector, laptop and backdrop.
Learning objectives: To properly prepare hazardous materials for transportation, shipping, and receiving.
Reference and instruction materials: The course material includes course reference binder, checklists, color DOT placard chart, Emergency Response Guidebooks, etc. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate identifying that they have been properly trained in hazardous material transportation safety.
Evaluation Instrument(s): Standard evaluation form and 10 question test (optional)
Refresher frequency: 3 years
