Emergency Action Plan Outline
Course identification, length and regulatory drivers: The following
is the standard one-hour course outline used to conduct basic Emergency Action
Plan (EAP) training in compliance with 8, CCR 3220.
Class length: 1 hour
Attendance: All employees
Training location, space & equipment requirements: Classroom setting,
lap top, and projector
Learning objectives: To understand what to do; and how to handle various
emergency situations
Reference materials: Power Point Presentation and Emergency Action
Plan handout
Evaluation instruments: Standard evaluation & 10 question test
(optional)
Refresher training frequency: Evacuation drill annually. Emergency
Action Plan training every 3 years.
