

Course identification, length and regulatory drivers: This course meets or exceeds the Department of Toxic Substance Control standards and requirements for hazardous waste training CCR, Title 22 Sec 66264.16. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate identifying that they have been properly trained in hazardous waste handling.
Class length: 4 hours
Attendance prerequisites: Have taken the Hazard Communication class.
Target audience: Employees who handle hazardous waste or supervisors who direct employees to handle hazardous waste.
Training, location space & equipment requirements: A room from which to train, Du-All Safety will supply the TV, VCR, projector and backdrop. Du-All can provide if not available.
Learning objectives: To properly and safely handle, label, store, inspect, manifest, and dispose of hazardous waste.
Reference and instruction materials: The course curriculum includes lecture, video, course syllabus, HazWaste inspection forms, review of the hazardous materials business plan (if applicable), labels, etc.
Evaluation instrument(s): Standard class evaluation form and 10 question test (optional)
