

Course identification, length and regulatory drivers: The following class outline is used to conduct OSHA Log 300 and occupational injury and illness recordkeeping training in accordance with 8, CCR, 14300.8, and 29, CFR 1904.
Class length: 1 hour
Attendance prerequisites: None
Target audience: Persons who prepare the OSHA Log 300 & 300A Summary.
Training location space & equipment requirements: Classroom setting with tables, chairs, overhead projector and whiteboard.
Learning objectives: (1) At the conclusion of this class, the attendee will be able to fill out the OSHA 300 Log & 300A Summary. (2) The attendee will be familiar with the OSHA 300 reporting requirements. (3) The attendee will be familiar with the records retention requirements of the OSHA 300 Log.
Reference and instruction materials: OSHA 300 Log, Injury Statistics, and definition page of terms. The course will be based on a review of the revised Federal and State requirements implemented 01.01.2003 Written handout(s), practice forms and worksheets and a survey form.
