Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Course Outline
The following is the standard One-hour course outline used to conduct Personal
Protective Equipment (8 CCR 3380) training.
The course will cover:
- ANSI standards.
- PPE assessment requirements.
- New OSHA regulation and sample policy on PPE.
- Limitations of PPE.
- Selection of PPE for various activities.
- Use of PPE in various activities.
- A, B & C Levels of HazMat suits, when and how to use.
- Selection and use of hard-hats.
- Selection and use of gloves.
- Selection and use of eye protection.
- Selection and use of hearing protection.
- Selection and use of safety shoes & boots.
All sample equipment, course material, and certificates will be provided.
