Cal/OSHA has the right to inspect any company, at any time

Cal/OSHA does not need to provide advanced notice before performing inspections. In fact, unauthorized advanced notice is punishable by a $1000 fine and/or six months in jailThis is why Du-all Safety offers Safety Inspections and Assessments for our partners.

We ensure that even though Cal/OSHA may have stopped by for a surprise visit, you will
welcome them in confidently, knowing they will not find any surprises.

Cal/OSHA May Inspect Your Company for Multiple Reasons

Cal/OSHA has seven main reasons they visit employer facilities. The first group of reasons are preventative reasons and Cal/OSHA’s planned program schedules. The next group of reasons pertains to safety incidents, reported complaints, and follow-ups from previous OSHA Inspections.

For more details on why Cal/OSHA may visit your facility, please review The Guide to Department of Industrial Relations Division of Occupational Safety and Health
